Welcome to Left Seat Lessons, a subscription-based educational and informational platform provided by Left Seat Lessons LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, digital content, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent. By using the Service, you warrant that:

  • You meet all eligibility requirements;
  • Any information you provide is accurate and complete;
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account;

3. Free Trial, Subscription & Billing

A. Free Trial

We may offer a 3-day free trial to new users. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the free trial at any time without notice. At the end of the trial, unless canceled, you will be charged according to the subscription plan you selected at sign-up.

B. Subscription & Recurring Billing

The Service is offered on a recurring monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, you:

  • Authorize us to charge your selected payment method monthly until canceled;
  • Understand that charges will continue until you cancel your subscription;
  • Agree that Left Seat Lessons LLC reserves the right to change pricing or subscription structure at any time, with or without prior notice.

You are solely responsible for all charges incurred under your account, including any applicable taxes.

C. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or via the app store/platform you used for purchase.
  • To avoid future charges, you must cancel before the next renewal date.
  • Upon cancellation, access will continue until the end of the billing period.

D. No Refunds

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds or credits for:

  • Partial months of service;
  • Unused content or features;
  • Failure to cancel in time;
  • Dissatisfaction with content, features, or perceived value.

4. Modifications to Service, Pricing & Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service, including but not limited to features, content, pricing, or availability, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

5. Educational and Informational Use Only

The content provided through the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Digital courses, guides, videos
  • Podcasts and livestreams
  • eBooks and downloadable files
  • AI-powered assistants and chatbots
  • Weather data and aviation reports
  • Any community or user-generated content

is intended solely for informational and educational purposes. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • We do not provide professional, legal, flight instruction, or regulatory advice.
  • You must independently verify all information provided through our platform.
  • Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or contextually misleading.
  • AI-powered features may generate incorrect or misleading outputs.
  • Weather and aviation data may be subject to latency, inaccuracies, or third-party errors.

You must not rely solely on the Service for making aviation-related or safety-critical decisions.

6. No Warranty / Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim:

  • All warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
  • Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • Any liability for decisions made or actions taken based on content provided through the Service.

You assume full responsibility for your use of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Left Seat Lessons LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Michigan. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Left Seat Lessons LLC regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements, oral or written.
